Parenting is a delicate balancing act.

My Coaching Style

My coaching style is warm, direct, and deeply compassionate.

I am both deeply sensitive and down to earth. I can hold space for the hard stuff without making it heavier than it already is. I believe we can be honest about what’s happening, look at the patterns underneath it, and still have a little humor along the way.

I create a space where adults and teens can feel safe enough to be honest, reflective enough to see their patterns, and supported enough to create real change. There is no judgment here, no perfect-parent checklist, and no expectation that you have it all figured out.

What exactly is Parent Coaching anyway?

Parent Coaching is about having someone in your corner as you navigate the everyday challenges of raising your teens and tweens. It isn’t a strict parenting plan, but a customized approach based on your specific needs. It’s about understanding what’s going on, figuring out what feels right for your family, and having practical tools to move forward.

Together, we’ll begin at looking at what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to change. We’ll focus on small, realistic steps that can make everyday life feel a little more connected and a little less overwhelming.

We will continue with inner work to find out what type of parent you are, and figure out ways to help you stay grounded when things go sideways. Then we will dig into what kind of kid you have in front of you, and learn lots of strategies to understand and connect with them on a deeper level.

We’ll get to the roots, so your family can thrive.

IS PARENT COACHING RIGHT FOR YOU?

Parent coaching may be a good fit if you find yourself thinking:

“I know how I want to parent, but I’m struggling to make it happen in the moment.”

“We keep getting stuck in the same battles.”

“I understand what my child needs, but I’m not sure what to do next.”

“I want to set boundaries without constantly feeling like I’m fighting with my child.”

“I want to feel connected on a deeper level with my children.”

“I want to feel more confident in how I respond.”

“I don’t want to feel guilty about the way things are going at home anymore.”

“I just wish I had someone in my corner, someone who won’t judge me.”

You don’t need to be at a breaking point to benefit from parent coaching. Sometimes having support early can make the hard seasons feel much more manageable.

What to Expect with Parent Coaching

We’ll start with a free 20 minute check in to see if we’re a good fit for each other. If we decide to work together, we’ll meet for a 60 minute virtual session, typically weekly or every other week.

We’ll begin by exploring what brought you to coaching, your family’s strengths, your child’s unique needs, and the patterns that may be impacting your day-to-day experience.

As we continue, we’ll identify your parenting style and your child’s essence, so that you can connect on a deeper level. However, each session will have it’s own agenda depending on what you arrive with, and I will follow my intuition to offer exactly what you need in that moment.

Typical commitment:

6 months | 60-min virtual sessions | Weekly or every other week
