About Me

Hello, I’m Deidre, and I’m so honored you’re here. My journey to this point has been a winding one, and I’d love to share a little bit about myself.

I proudly grew up in New Jersey, Exit 7A (IYKYK). I lived there through grad school and have been in a state of wanderlust ever since…living in San Diego, Vermont, Boston, and San Francisco. Then I felt a call for even more adventure and something deeper, so my family and I moved to Mexico, where we spent six years between San Pancho, a dreamy little beach town, and Mexico City.

In Mexico, the slower pace of life gave me space to reconnect with myself and deepen my understanding of conscious living, parenting, and personal transformation. Through Women’s Circles, I also experienced the power of being truly seen, heard, and held in community. That sense of connection and shared humanity continues to shape how I hold space for others in my work today.

Outside of coaching, I love tapping into my creativity. I’m drawn to fiber arts like crochet, macramé, and embroidery, and I often use collage as a therapeutic and reflective practice. I love to read, not only to learn, but as a way to slow down in a very busy world. Writing poetry and reading it aloud has also become a surprisingly powerful part of my own growth.

I bring so much of my lived experience into my coaching: navigating infertility, motherhood (twins!), deep personal loss, family addiction, and reinvention. My work is rooted in the belief that when we heal ourselves, we naturally transform the way we show up for our children, our relationships, and our lives.

I’m from New Jersey, so I like to keep it real, and I curse a lot. Life is all about balance.

Experience & Qualifications

I studied Psychology and Women’s Studies at Rutgers University before earning a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus in Special Education, including ADHD, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity. I also hold a Master’s degree in School Administration.

For over 25 years, I worked with adolescents in schools across the country, supporting young people and families through growth, challenges, and transitions. It was deeply meaningful work that shaped so much of who I am today and gave me a deep understanding of the complexities of raising and educating young people.

More recently, I completed a coaching program through Dr. Shefali’s Conscious Coaching Institute, where I learned to look more deeply at my own patterns as a parent by identifying the “ego masks” I wear, understanding my triggers, and learning how to create deeper, more authentic connection with my children.
