No lectures. No judgment.

Just a place to be yourself.

Teen coaching for when you need to talk to someone who gets it. Without the eye roll.

Teen Coaching Sessions

Being a teenager can be exciting, awkward, confusing, hilarious, lonely, overwhelming, and exhausting…all in the same day.

You’re figuring out who you are while everyone around you seems to have an opinion about who you should be. Your friendships are changing. School can feel like a lot. Your emotions may feel huge, and there can be pressure coming from everywhere: grades, friends, social media, family, your future, your body, your identity.

Maybe you’re:

  • feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, angry, lonely, unmotivated, or just…off.

  • struggling with friendships or feeling like you don’t quite fit in.

  • constantly fighting with your parents.

  • trying to figure out who you are and where you belong.

  • exploring your sexual identity.

This is where teen coaching can help.

Our sessions are a place where you don’t have to perform, have the “right” answer, or pretend everything is fine. You get to show up exactly as you are. We might talk about your emotions, friendships, family, school, motivation, confidence, identity, stress, ADHD or neurodivergence, boundaries, or whatever else is taking up space in your head.

And no, I’m not going to spend the whole session telling you what you should do.

We’ll work together to understand your patterns, figure out what you need, and help you develop the tools to handle the things that feel hard. That might mean learning how to communicate when you’re angry, manage overwhelm, navigate friendship drama, advocate for yourself at school, deal with procrastination, set boundaries, recover from mistakes, or have a difficult conversation with your parents.

You don’t have to know exactly what you need when you walk through the door.

Teen coaching is about building confidence, resilience, and the ability to trust yourself. It’s about finding your voice, understanding your emotions, navigating relationships, and learning how to move through the messy parts of growing up without losing yourself along the way.

Because being a teenager is a lot.

You shouldn’t have to figure it all out alone.

Here is what is possible
when we work together:

  • Feel more confident and comfortable being yourself

  • Find your voice and learn to express what they need

  • Learn how to navigate friendships, conflict, and social pressure

  • Develop healthier ways to handle stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and big emotions

  • Better understand how your ADHD or neurodivergence affects the way they learn, communicate, and move through the world

  • Develop practical strategies for school, organization, motivation, and executive functioning

  • Learn to recognize when you’re stuck in people-pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance, or self-criticism

  • Develop more independence while learning when and how to ask for help

  • Learn how to repair relationships after conflict

  • Have a trusted adult who will listen without immediately trying to fix you

  • And ultimately, feel more at home in yourself

What to Expect in a Coaching Session

We’ll start with a free 20-minute check-in to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you to coaching, and see if we feel like a good fit. If we decide to work together, we’ll meet for 60-minute virtual sessions, typically weekly or every other week.

We’ll start wherever you are. Maybe there’s something specific you want help with like school, friendships, family, anxiety, motivation, confidence, or just feeling overwhelmed. Or maybe you’re not even sure what’s bothering you. That’s okay, too.

There is no set agenda for every session. You might come in with something specific you need to talk through, or we might follow a conversation somewhere unexpected. I’ll bring structure, experience, practical tools, and intuition, while staying responsive to what you need in that moment.

This is your space. You don’t have to say the “right” thing, agree with me, or pretend everything is fine. You can be honest, ask questions, disagree, laugh, vent, or sit with something you’re still trying to understand.

The goal is to help you understand yourself, trust yourself, and feel more confident being yourself.

Typical Commitment:
6 months | 45-minute virtual sessions | Weekly or every other week

  • "When I first started working with Deidre I was dealing with a lot of trust issues due to past experiences. I was struggling to be able to do my work on my own but also not wanting to ask for help. Deidre did everything she could to help me. She never gave up on me even on the days I was being stubborn. She is someone I will never forget because she showed me how to enjoy learning again. She helped me find out about my learning disabilities and took the time to find ways that I could understand my work on my own. If it wasn't for Deidre I would not be graduating college with a bachelor's degree right now and on my way to a masters degree in July. Thank you for everything Deidre!"

Through thick and thin, she has always been there for me no matter what I was going through, and that kind of support is something I’ll never forget. One thing that always stood out to me about Deidre was how patient and understanding she is. She made a huge difference in my confidence and success in school. Having a someone who pays attention and looks out for you like that makes you feel supported and seen. Deidre is genuinely one of the most caring, dedicated, and impactful people I know."
